Tali'Zorah nar Rayya, known as Tali'Zorah vas Normandy in-game, is a quarian machinist and a member of Commander Shepard's squad. She is the daughter of Rael'Zorah, an admiral on the Admiralty Board. Despite her age, Tali is a mechanical genius.
She was born in 2161 aboard the Rayya. When she reached maturity, she embarked on her Pilgrimage, a rite of passage to prove her worth and bring something of value back to the Migrant Fleet. Over the events of the previous two games, Tali was part of the Suicide Mission to fight the Collectors and was part of Shepard's squad in the war against the Reapers.
Tali'Zorah is voiced by Ash Sroka and her appearance is modeled after Hammasa Kohistani.
